A review of the results on B 0-B 0 mixing and b-lifetimes obtained by CDF, LEP and SLD collaborations is presented with special emphasis on B 0 s-B 0 s mixing.

We review recent B physics results obtained in polarized e + e − interactions at the SLC by the SLD experiment. The excellent 3-D vertexing capabilities of SLD are exploited to extract precise B + and B 0 d lifetimes, as well as measurements of the time evolution of B 0 d − B 0 d mixing.

After a brief historical overview, current studies of the time dependence of B 0 s oscillations are described, with an emphasis on the different experimental techniques used by the ALEPH, CDF, DELPHI, OPAL, and SLD Collaborations. To conclude, the outlook for future experiments is presented.
